Course Description:
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. Individuals at this level display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements. They plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources.

After completing BSB51918 Diploma of Leadership and Management, candidates may choose to undertake BSB61015 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management or higher management related qualifications such as Bachelor of Management to enhance their skills set further.
Employment Pathway:
Once students have completed the BSB51918 Diploma of Leadership and Management, they will be able to seek employment as manager, senior supervisor or team leader.

Mode of delivery for this course is predominately face-to-face (facilitated on-site delivery). Students are also required to complete the self-paced study (independent self-directed study) to complement the classroom learning.
Course Entry Requirements:
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL):
RPL is the assessment process for recognizing competencies gained through previous learning, work and life experiences. Students who have completed any of the subjects or have practical experience that can be used for RPL, can contact Bright Minds Point prior to enrolment. In order to be granted RPL, candidates are required to provide evidence that they are already competent in the specific subject/subjects and this evidence should be valid, authentic, current and sufficient.
