Course Description:
This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of Business Services job roles. These individuals may have general management accountabilities.
Individuals in these roles carry out complex tasks in a specialist field of expertise. They may undertake technical research and analysis, and will often contribute to setting the strategic direction for a work area.
The qualification is suited to individuals who are responsible for the supervision and leadership of a team or work area (including by managing staff performance and making staffing decisions).

After completing BSB60120 Advanced Diploma of Business, candidates may choose to undertake higher level qualifications at a tertiary education provider.
Employment Pathway:
Once students have completed BSB60120 Advanced Diploma of Business, they will be able to seek employment in a leadership role such as Senior Administrator, Senior Executive, Business Manager or Team Leader.

The mode of delivery for this course is predominately face-to-face (facilitated on-site delivery). However, due to COVID-19, online delivery is also available. Students are also required to complete the self-paced study (independent self-directed study) to complement classroom learning.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL):
RPL is the assessment process for recognizing competencies gained through previous learning, work and life experiences. Students who have completed any of the subjects or have practical experience that can be used for RPL, can contact Bright Minds Point prior to enrolment. In order to be granted RPL, candidates are required to provide evidence that they are already competent in the specific unit/units and this evidence should be valid, authentic, current and sufficient.
